High-reliability filtration for electroplating processes

OMG filter pumps are designed to operate in surface treatment processes known as electroplating, or more commonly galvanic plating. This process consists of depositing, through electrolysis, a thin layer of metal onto metal surfaces for decorative, protective or functional purposes.

Within these processes, filter pumps play a fundamental role in filtering electrolytic solutions, directly contributing to bath stability, deposit quality and the reduction of surface defects such as pitting.

Each machine consists of two main functional units:

Hermetic Filtration unit, responsible for removing impurities and maintaining the efficiency of the electrolytic bath
Pump unit, designed to ensure constant flow rates, operational continuity and long-term reliability

OMG filter pumps – Materials and durability

Robust construction, careful selection of materials and the design of the filtration system allow OMG filter pumps to operate even in demanding conditions, ensuring long service life and consistent performance.

The filtration system is capable of achieving extremely high filtration levels, with a filtration capacity of less than 1 micron, in line with the standards required by modern electroplating plants.

CESE SERIES

Filter pumps equipped with a mechanical seal. They ensure high filtration standards.

Effective capacity: 2,000 l/h to 5,000 l/h
Filtering surface area (m²): 0.2 to 1.22

Provide excellent filtration quality for small and medium-sized systems, from 500 L to 2,000 L

CESEM SERIES

Filter pumps equipped with a magnetic entrainment pump. Recommended for filtering electroplating baths of Gold, Silver, and other precious metals (Palladium, Platinum, Ruthenium).

Effective capacity: 2,000 l/h to 5,000 l/h
Filtering surface (m²): 0.2 to 1.22

Provide excellent filtration quality for small and medium-sized systems, from 500 L to 2,000 L

TE SERIES

Filter pumps equipped with a mechanical seal. They ensure high filtration standards even under demanding operating conditions.

Effective capacity: 5,000 l/h to 30,000 l/h
Filtering surface (m²): 2.7 to 20

Ideal for medium and large systems, from 1,500 L to 10,000 / 20,000 L

TE t SERIES

Filter pumps equipped with filtration unit and pump unit featuring titanium components.
They are designed for filtering particularly aggressive electroplating baths.

Effective flow rates: from 5,000 l/h to 30,000 l/h
Filtration surface area (sqm): from 2.7 to 20

Ideal for medium and large-sized systems, from 1,500 L up to 10,000 / 20,000 L

C24 FILTER

Device that allows the selective recovery of contaminating metals such as Nickel (Ni) and Copper (Cu). Effective in improving process sustainability.

Auxiliary equipment, spare parts and Filter media

Auxiliary devices and spare parts such as spare - filter pack, hoists, and rigid PP suction pipes manufactured by OMG are available ex stock. Among the available products, we also offer filter papers in various basis weights and micron ratings—different formats and diameters (custom sizes available upon request), carbon filters, filter layers pre-coated with diatomaceous earth / carbon, polyester and PP filter rolls, PP filter cloths, etc. These materials ensure operational continuity, consistent filtration quality, and maximum compatibility with OMG filter pumps as well as pumps from other suppliers.
