Export and International Markets – Tunisia

For many years, OMG  has looked with great interest at foreign markets with the aim of bringing its experience in electroplating filtration beyond the Italian market.

Among the countries where we first laid our foundations in 2016 is Tunisia, where we have long collaborated with a customer using our TE series filter pumps for the filtration of alkaline zinc plating baths, appreciating their high filtration performance, robust construction and continuous long-term operation.

Over the years, we have also received confirmation of the presence of our filter pumps already installed for over 40 years in plants built through plant engineering companies. This demonstrates the long service life of our machines and the strength of OMG's construction solutions.

The penetration of the Tunisian market, included in our Export Plan, represents a project in which we firmly believe. In 2025, we began an active collaboration with a local partner, with whom we are carefully analysing the different possible approaches to the electroplating sector, taking into account both the opportunities available and the operational, commercial and structural difficulties that characterise the Tunisian market.

OMG's approach to export has always been open and practical: we are willing to evaluate new opportunities in different countries, without excluding any potential path for development. We believe it is essential to open up to international markets in order to introduce our machines to production companies with high filtration requirements.

Our filter pumps are designed to meet demanding filtration needs in production environments where reliability, construction quality, long service life and consistent results in electroplating processes are required. For this reason, we consider export not only as a commercial channel, but also as a path of growth, technical exchange and enhancement of industrial Made in Italy.
